Emily Zepeda finished our HiSET program with Ms. Quitegui, earned her high school equivalency, and did not stop there.
She is now studying English at our Mid City campus, building the skills to take her even further. Her goal is to become a nursing assistant, and eventually, a nurse. It is a path she already knows well. She works in a nursing home, where she sees every day how much it means to care for others.
"I like my job because you help others."
She loves learning alongside her classmates and grows more confident every time she speaks. Finishing ESL is next, and after that, the sky's the limit.
We are so proud of her journey and honored to be part of it.
